How fast does the A2B Hybrid 24 go and how far?

The top speed under motor power of the Hybrid 24 is 15.5 miles per hour which is the maximum speed for pedal assist electric bicycles under European law. How far can you go depends on many factors such as the terrain you are riding on, the assist level you are using, and the type of traffic you are in (i.e. stop and go city traffic versus cruising in the country). It is possible to travel up to 50 miles on one charge (based on a 90 kg rider) but please refer to the A2B Energy Equation in our technology section for more detailed information.

How do you set your own pace?

By rotating the control dial on the display can change the level of assistance provided by the motor which enables you to set your own pace and define your riding experience. There are three assistance levels: “economy” for maximum range, “standard” for an optimal blend of range and performance, and “high” for sporty dynamic performance.

How does the A2B Hybrid 24 handle hills?

The motor which powers the A2B Hybrid 24 and A2B Hybrid 26 deliver up to 30 Nm of torque to propel you from a stopped position in traffic or to help you navigate the hills between you and your destination. Although the continuous output power of the motor is limited to 250W the proprietary design of the A2B Hybrid motor enables you to operate the vehicle when the terrain requires it at peak output powers of up to 500W. These design features are what gives the A2B Hybrid 24 its dynamic sporty performance and set it apart from other pedal assist electric bikes on the market.

How do I charge the A2B Hybrid 24?

Recharging is as easy as charging a mobile phone or laptop. Simply plug the charger into any standard outlet and connect it to your charge port on the vehicle or your portable rear rack battery. The A2B Hybrid 24 uses lithium ion batteries from the highest quality manufacturers. After 2 hours your battery will be charged up to 80% of its capacity. To complete a full charge will take between 3-4 hours depending on how discharged the battery is at the beginning of the charging process. For the best performance we recommend to charge your A2B Hybrid 24 battery at least every 2 months and if you are using it frequently keep the battery topped up as often as possible.

How do I know I am running low on power?

There is an indicator on the cockpit display of the Hybrid 24 which indicates how much energy is left in your battery. We call this the “state-of-charge” of the battery. The indicator works just like a fuel gauge on your car and will let you know when the energy level is depleted.

What is the manufacturer's warranty?

The A2B Hybrid 24 comes with a 2 year warranty which covers all parts of the vehicle except components such as brake pads and tires.
